ARTificial
Truly inspired jewelry made with the expectation that no one, not even one person, may like, let alone wear it. Because: “You are what you do. Not what you say you’ll do.” - Carl Jung

Power Plant
“Power Plant” playfully embodies the concept of exposure, while poking at deeper insecurities it evokes. A cable cord with exposed wires is capped with culet-up gemstones. A toggle clasp is featured, rather than hidden, with a culet-up gemstone. “Power Plant” suggests the specter of a natural world that can no longer sustain itself without human-made electrification. Would such a world be enhanced, deformed, or both? In our quest to dominate nature, what troubles have we exposed ourselves to?
